T O P I C R E V I E WpolkadotstarsHi all, Pisces sun and moon girl here. Is it normal for Pisces to want to be distant from their partner at times? I feel like sometimes I want to be around my boyfriend all the time, but other times I just want my privacy and alone time. Then, if we go a day without talking much, I'll want even more space, more time alone. And I don't really care if we make plans later on or not. Im an Aries Venus so I'm constantly pulling back and forth between wanting attention and wanting to be alooooone, and it's a bit mentally confusing, lol.Is this normal?!!MergoatsunWhat house is your Venus in?Also, Pisces can be wishy washy in general, but love is the Venus sign ------------------"Do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace."-Dalai Lamamadelineleo23My friend has the SAME exact placements as you. Sun in pisces, moon in pisces and venus in aries. She is the exact same way. She lives alone but her boyfriend is over frequently. Sometimes she will tell him to leave because she just wants time alone. She is fine not seeing him for a week. vertiverI'm just a Pisces moon girl, but can relate. In my last relationship I would go from "we never spend enough time together" to "get out of my space, I just want to be alone."Now I'm single and go between, "look at you go girl, you're doing way better on your own" to "I'm so alone, no one will ever love me."Its pretty hilarious in a way. Also I've got Gemini Venus, just adds to the wishy washy mutable vibe. polkadotstarsMergo- My Venus is in my 9th, conjunct my Mars. Madeline- Ha, yes. I like spending weekends with him but then I want my space during the week. Although we usually see each other 3 times a week. Id be fine not seeing him a whole week though. Ugh, I'm terrible lol. I love him but sometimes I just want that space! Thankfully, he's a Pisces so I guess he gets it too. MilaBirkinI'm Pisces. I have a huge love for people, animals, living things in general but I need to be alone for awhile. Pisces need to have their space. Has a lot of empathy too, maybe that's the reason because being with people ALL the time is very exhausting for Pisces.PixieJaneSociety tells us what we need and should want. Society is often wrong, and we make mistakes in doing what society says rather than what our hearts and souls say.I've got a lot of Libra, which craves Balance, so I like togetherness and alone time...in Balance. I like when others are the same way, and perhaps that's why I tend to get along with Pisces. (But then I'm not constantly scanning them for signs of betrayal or rejection.) I do think Pisces (especially the moons) can get easily overloaded by the presence of others in ways I don't quite get by being around people, and try to give them extra space for that. But yeah, the common life motions of being unhappy in a relationship, and then hating not being in one, repeat, just begs for satire that just isn't done for some reason (could be it would be sacrilegious against a romanticized notion, or it could be that the economy is too dependent on people being unsatisfied like in so many ways which would cease being profitable if people stopped that). polkadotstarsMila, that is true. I'll get in these social bouts, where I'm super social, with a super busy social calendar. And then I take a week off and just spend time alone. Is that a Pisces thing?OrangeI am a Pisces Rising and I do require long time alone. One of my favorite T-Shirts had a log on it -" Get off my Cloud!"girlwiththerainysoul quote:Originally posted by polkadotstars:Mila, that is true. Is that a Pisces thing?so very true.As a pisces moon, I need LOTS of alone time and privacy (my moon is trine scorp pluto and cancer mars too). I need this time to think, do yoga, listen to music, paint something, or read or watch something magical.Out in the society, I usually give off the vibe of a total rebel or someone who's up to no good. My close ones always complain why I don't just "let them in" and the only explanation they get from me is a blank stare and then some brief hanging out to make up for my feelings of guilt. Actually, sometimes I think that if I didn't need others for survival (food, sex, etc) I would be very fine living all by myself and animals in the world Faith quote:Originally posted by girlwiththerainysoul: Actually, sometimes I think that if I didn't need others for survival (food, sex, etc) I would be very fine living all by myself and animals in the world From the time I was really young, I've thought this way. 'Loved books about living alone in the wild (Island of the Blue Dolphins, Papillon, Robinson Crusoe). Loved camping.Spent a lot of time in my favorite tree, just sitting there, looking up at the sky through the leaves. I grew up next door to my best friend who is a Pisces sun (her sun conjunct my moon). She is way less of a dreamer than I am, and she never had much patience for it. She didn't like that I spent so much time alone. "What are you going back to your house for? Just to sit in your room doing nothing? This makes no sense!"LOL, she still brings that up and glares at me, reminding me of how I did her wrong. She is unabashedly clingy and will openly tell people that. But the thing is, her Aqua moon is really most interested in aloof people. If someone tries to cling back on her, she is gone in a heartbeat. If I was the one whining and saying she wasn't allowed to leave my house, she probably would have asked her parents to move to another town! LOL Please don't quotepolkadotstarsI'm glad to know that Pisces needing distance is totally normal. Phew! YellowGerberaHey polkadot!! This is SOOOO me :s and in the beginning of my relationship with my current bf, it confused the hella out of him! LOL! Sometimes I'm okay alone and I REALLY want to be alone. No distractions, no noises, no nothing! I just want silence and do nothing! And other times I want cuddles and constant attention and I whine and be a brat! Hahahha The tough part is what you say.... It's confusing even for myself! I don't know what triggers me to be wanting to be alone or wanting the attention... I feel bad for my bf sometimes but he's handling it well. My Sag Asc doesn't make any of this easier so I think he just learned to let me do whatever. HahahahapolkadotstarsHey Yellow! Lol I'm glad we both have understanding bf's who give us space at least we aren't clingy!I think our Pisces aspects just require us to have some down time and recovery period. I couldn't imagine a world where I had to constantly be around people with no alone time. Ahhh!! Novabronte quote:Originally posted by polkadotstars:. You're Venus in the 9th makes you're already not very stable Aries Venus even less stable. The 9th house rules Sagittarius and when the Venus is there ito makes for a person who needs to have independence and their own time no matter what. I do value my independence a lot. I guess thae 9th house Venus Aries explains why!moongazeStrong Pisces 12th House Moon checking in. I need hours of alone time in order to rejuvenate, especially after spending a lot of time around people. My mind wanders off into dreamland constantly, so I also need my little cocoon in order to escape into that world and not be bothered by external influences for a while. My parents think I'm weird for being alone so often, but I'm an extreme introvert, so I don't feel it's that big an issue.Pisces is a sign that I compare to a sponge. It soaks up everything around it, thus creating intense exhaustion, so one must spend time alone in order to dry out all that excess water energy.
Is this normal?!!
Also, Pisces can be wishy washy in general, but love is the Venus sign
